This particular set of drawing was completed during a bycycle tour thru south east asia, we had no internet, credit cards or formal connection with the outside world.
Drawing has always been inate, a part of my existence. Hiding behind a sketchbook is easily the most popular form of introvert expression. Being a part of the environment, yet not performing at a glorious per functionary level. Sketching the built form and objects in front of us is a gift that many have conquered. The emotional happiness I have received from literally sitting on the side of the road with a sketchbook and pen has been my saving grace, to this day, i would find it difficult to speak of my artistic interpretations of a space, time , and people. But here we are, computers in hand, reflecting on an individuals inspiration, aspirations, and competency, let alone their artistic talents.
